Tide Pools

This past Sunday we went to the beach to check out the tide pools. We've never been to this beach before and I was a little disappointed with the small tide pool area and lack of variety of sea life in the pools. But, Crystal Cove was SO beautiful! The day was absolutley lovely. There were very few people on the beach and everyone who passed us was super polite and pleasant! It was a partially cloudy, cool and breezy day. Since it was Sunday we only planned on playing in the sand and checking out the tide pools. Really? You think I can go to the beach with Elliott and think she's not going to get completely wet and sandy? Who am I kidding? Which is why she was in a t-shirt and undies for the majority of the time we were there.

Isn't that so pretty? It was really the most beautiful day.

Nothing sweeter than a little girl reaching for her daddy's hand. I hope she does that the rest of her life.

Easter Fun!

How sweet are these cousins?! In order from left to right: Ferris, Elliott, and Eleanor.

P.S. Stop judging my time stamps on my pictures! I don't print them right away, as in I do it years later, so I'll forget when they were taken. I know you can see it if you hover over a photo on  your computer. But do you really think I'm going to take the time to do that when I can just have it done on the picture itself? One day when I'm not so lazy I'll take the setting off.

Christmas in June?

Yes, I'm that lame. I rarely update my blog. First of all, I envy all other bloggers who can keep up with their blogs. Confession: the only reason I would keep my blog updated on a consistent basis is if I was running a business or to trick everyone who ever looked at it into thinking my life is as perfect and happy looking as my blog.

Which is why I'm posting Christmas in June.

I can't even remember Christmas it's been that long ago (6 months...) since it happened. But here are some beautiful pictures that make you think it was the best Christmas ever. Enjoy.

Annual Christmas Eve party at the Rasmussen's! Thanks Katherine for always having a full schedule (literally every minute is planned) of activities that keep us all entertained! I love those parties.

Christmas morning, how cute is she? And how do kids get semi-undressed in the night? So funny!
My handmade stockings designed by yours truly! Yes they take forever and I will only make you one for the right price...wink wink. I love handmade mom items that will last and be appreciated for years.
 See? Elliott loves them!
